Its hard to be a kid anywhere these days, but there are places around the world where its brutal.
For the last 16 years, KAC has focused on interceding in the lives of children and their families to help alleviate some of the painful things they face to give kids a better opportunity at life.
By providing help through clean water, nutrition, education and better health care, we have impacted literally thousands of families and communities.
We are currently piloting a new project we call “Every Kid Counts.” We believe that by working together with families and the local church, we can make an even greater impact. EKC will focus on 20 children and their families for a long-term commitment. We are working with a small church in Cambodia with a big heart for kids to provide access to clean drinking water, training on growing nutritious food, health and wellness care, and an opportunity for a good education. Working with young leaders from the church, kids will receive nutritious meals each day, tutoring, and a friendship through the local church that will help bring life change.
I am so excited about this project and the fruit it will produce! This is our pilot project and we fully expect to reproduce it in other areas we work in the near future.
