Giving Kids a Chance Changes Everything

Kids Across Cultures uses education, clean water, and medical projects to create lasting change in the hardest places to be a kid.

Life is hard for kids in remote, hard-to-reach places & We’re on a mission to change that

Child labor, tainted water, hunger, malnutrition, and countless heartbreaking issues plague our world. There are many organizations dedicated to ending this suffering, but there is a lot of work to be done. Remote villages are often overlooked because they are difficult to access, there are localized language barriers, and it takes longer to establish personal relationships. Here is where you’ll find Kids Across Cultures.

How We Work

Helping kids is more than a short-term fix

It’s easy to offer help and leave, but real change takes a long-term commitment. It’s why we partner with people who live and work within the communities we help, developing sustainable projects so kids and their families can help themselves and others.
Education
Whether it’s a focus on the fundamentals of reading and writing, learning the science of clean water, or being taught how to successfully farm, we see learning as the key to independence. We work with local schools, sponsor kids who otherwise wouldn’t be able to go to school, and send volunteers to host workshops for communities, kids, and their families.
Clean Water & Agriculture
Safe drinking water is the foundation of a healthy life. While we provide families with in-home water filters, we also help communities create and maintain sustainable water systems and agricultural farming practices.
Medical
Teaching nutrition, hygiene, and basic first aid gives parents the knowledge and skills to take better care of their children. We also sponsor doctors, nurses, and EMT volunteers who travel to local partner communities for pop-up medical clinics.
STORIES FROM THE FIELD

Holistic help creates long-lasting change

Access to clean water is critical, but so is education about the importance of clean water.

Meet Keak, a mother of 3, who lives in Cambodia. She explains, “Damson and his team showed us how our contaminated water makes us sick. They provided us with a water filter, and now my family has clean drinking water every day!”

UPDATE

Tour de Aqua 2022

After careful thought and planning, our Board of Directors has decided the 2022 Tour de Aqua will be canceled.

Our leadership team will be traveling most of the summer and we just felt we could not put on the quality event you are used to.

We apologize for the change in our schedule of events for this year, but we hope you get plenty of time in the saddle!
